On November 28, the Institute of Environmental Medicine at Karolinska Institutet held its annual Research Day, gathering approximately 100 participants, including PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, and professors. The event provided an excellent opportunity for knowledge exchange and showcased the diverse research projects ongoing at the institute.
Hanna Karlsson presented a poster highlighting the results from the nPETS project, focusing on the inflammatory effects of the collected nanoparticles. During her presentation, she discussed the project’s main findings, which are detailed in the project brochure. These findings shed light on the health implications of nanoparticle exposure and their potential to trigger inflammatory responses, contributing to the growing understanding of environmental health risks.
