The mobile ALI (Air Liquid Interface) system is now built and is being tested in the lab and field. The photo shows the system at Stockholm underground station Tekniska Högskolan. Using the ALI system, we mimic the interactions of airborne particles with lung cells. By that, we provide more knowledge of health risks linked to exposure to nanoparticles.
